Biography

Martin Josheski is a Junior associate for keeping records of increased pharmacovigilance at the Food and Veterinary Agency of the Republic of North Macedonia, Department for Veterinary Public Health. He graduated on Integrated studies of first and second cycle studies in veterinary medicine at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine – Skopje at the University “St. Cyril and Methodius ” and hold degree Doctor of veterinary medicine (DVM MSc.). He is currently Assistant coordinator/National focal point of North Macedonia to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and National Focal Point in European Medicines Agency from North Macedonia. In the period January 2024 – December 2024 he was working as Seconded National Expert at European Food Safety Authority in Parma, Italy. He is currently working on the implementation of the Annual plan for monitoring of pharmacologically active substances, pesticide residues and contaminants in food of animal origin and Annual plan for monitoring of antimicrobial resistance in Republic of North Macedonia. Also, he is involved in the procedure for marketing authorization of veterinary – medicinal products in Republic of North Macedonia. He is also data provider, reporter and validator for the monitoring data in the Scientific Network on Chemical Monitoring Data Collection and Scientific Network for Zoonoses Monitoring Data – subgroup on AMR. He has more than 10 scientific papers and more than 500 certificates from different fields, mostly veterinary medicine.
