Biography
Ivana Shikoska is a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Skopje and a PhD student researching antimicrobial resistance in dogs. She holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. Her research focuses on antimicrobial resistance in bacteria from companion animals and wildlife, with experience in the Balkan Lynx Recovery Programme and other conservation initiatives. She has contributed to national and international projects, including Antimicrobial resistance in bacteria isolated from companion animals in the Republic of North Macedonia (FVMS-IPR-4) and EURESTOP (COST Action CA21145), and is the author or co-author of over 20 scientific publications.
