Biography

Dr. Zorica Đorđević, Hygiene Specialist; Director of the Center for Hygiene and Health Ecology at the Institute of Public Health of Montenegro. She is a recognized activist for public health, food and nutrition in Montenegro, actively involved in various aspects of food and nutrition, developing guidelines and recommendations for the nutrition of different categories of the population, and especially improving the nutrition of preschool and school children. She has a leading and active role in the National Program for Improving Nutrition and the State of Nutrition in Montenegro, as well as in the implementation of the strategy for reducing salt intake. She is currently the president of the Montenegrin Society for Food and Nutrition.
