Biography
Tatjana Pustahija is a specialist in epidemiology at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Institute of Public Health of Vojvodina, and an Assistant at the Department of Epidemiology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Novi Sad. In September 2023, she defended her doctoral dissertation in epidemiology at the same faculty.
As an epidemiologist, she is particularly engaged in the prevention and control of zoonoses, vector-borne and intestinal infectious diseases, as well as COVID-19. Her research focuses on the epidemiology of zoonoses and vector-borne diseases, spatial epidemiology, and seroepidemiological studies. Since 2014, she has presented her research at national and international professional and scientific conferences.
She is co-author of a chapter in the international monograph „Climate, Ticks and Disease“and author or co-author of several publications in domestic and international journals. She has also served as a reviewer for scientific and professional articles in multiple international journals.
