Biography
Snežana Medić is an epidemiologist at the Institute of Public Health of Vojvodina, Head of the Department for Prevention and Control of Zoonoses, Intestinal Infectious Diseases, and Vector-Borne Diseases. She is also a faculty member at the Department of Epidemiology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Novi Sad, where she was recently appointed as an Assistant Professor.
Her professional work focuses on zoonoses and vector-borne diseases, with additional expertise in immunization, outbreak investigation, and seroepidemiological studies. She has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals indexed in the SCI list in these fields.
Since 2013, she has been a member of the Serbian National Expert Committee for Infectious Diseases, contributing to the development of legislation and regulations in the field of communicable diseases. She was awarded the title of Primarius in 2011.
